Kitchen:

At Water Woods, considerable attention is devoted to the quality of food in terms of hygiene, cleanliness, taste and freshness.

Our kitchen is headed by an Executive Chef of experience who, assisted by a Sous Chef, will provide varied and imaginative meals. The menu caters to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian and is served in Buffet style.

Special attention can be paid to meals for children in terms of menu and preferential timing.

Any special food requests are welcome....prior to arrival. Subject to weather conditions, all meals are served by the river......in atmospheres waiting for you.

Pool:

Only people with prior experience shall be allowed to use the Pool Table. Any damage caused to the felt shall be charged for.

Gym:

Our gym is equipped with a treadmill, stationary cycle and a multistation.

Rest and Relaxation:

Rest & Relaxation: Although not much of an activity, this is the one activity that most people opt for most of the time. Our gardens have many deck chairs, hammocks, swings,etc for you to just lie there all day with a book or simply snooze for a while.

Safari: 

The highlight at Water Woods is definitely our wildlife safaris. Water Woods is situated on the periphery of the Nagarahole ( Rajiv Gandhi ) National park. The Nagarahole National Park spreads itself over 642 sq km and is home to one of the highest populations of elephant and  tiger.This being the only park in India approachable by land and water, makes it conducive for us to provide you with

• Boat safaris
• Elephant Rides

Our twice daily safaris at 6.30 am and 4 pm will take you into the park in the hope of sighting elephants, gaur, deer, wild boar, sloth bear, wild dogs, tiger, leopard and a myriad species of birds. At this park, hopes often come true.

Suggested Dress Code for Safaris: 

It is equitable to wear clothing whose colours mesh with the environment. Suggested colours are browns, greens, khaki, grey,etc. Please ensure that very bright colours like white, red, yellow,etc are NOT used while on safari.

Note :

All safaris are subject to the rules and regulations laid down by the Karnataka Forest Department  and are susceptible to change to fit in with their modes of governance. The management shall therefore not be responsible in the UNLIKELY event of such changes falling into place.

Bird Watching:

You may take long walks or be taken on Nature walks identifying different species of birds (indigenous & migratory), with the help of our Naturalist and books on ornithology.

Island Trip:

We take you on a boat ride to an island 20 minutes away, which has 12th century temple ruins and 800 year old trees. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Canoeing:

You may use our in-house 2 seater canoe on the Kabini River any time during the day. A really good form of exercise.

The above rates are inclusive of stay, all meals and taxes only.
The tariff for Indian and Foreign Nationals are the same.
